These do have the curved cutout on one side for easy removal. The diameter of each coaster is 2.75 inches (7 cm) and 0.2 inches (0.5 cm). These are made of high-quality diving material, which is not easy to wrinkle, hygroscopic and anti-skid.  Machine washable.
